The median sales price of homes in Maine rose 12.29% in April 2020 compared to April 2019. In Cumberland County the increase was 9.62%. With an average of 20% fewer homes on the market–and upwards of 30% in many towns–inventory remains tight. This is a great time to sell a home, and we work with each homeowner to develop a plan so that they feel safe listing their home.
It’s important to present as much information to buyers ahead of time. This includes having a professional photo gallery, virtual tour, and any pertinent information about the home readily available. This allows buyers to determine if the house could be a fit for them before even scheduling a showing.
For homeowners looking to maximize their return on investment, this is an excellent time to sell.
